As I repeatedly predicted, Harris is growing into a very good QB. Coach Cameron appears to be earning his pay. Harris's QB Rating is trending up.

The trend line for his Comp % is nothing to fret for two reasons. First, he's above 64% for his four SEC games bracketing the two OOC games. Second, his YPA is soaring upward.

Although some folks hate to hear it, LSU is once again developing a QB.

Nah bruh, we will always be a one dimensional team. Our fans and the media will always stick to this narrative.

You have to have talent to develop, first of all, and that hasn't been a strong suit for some seasons. Secondly, the QB, with talent, has to have a good character and personality to want continually develop.

You have those things and if Cam game plans well, the QB production and development will continue.

Come on Negatigers, sing along:

I've got to admit it's getting better
A little better all the time
I have to admit it's getting better
It's getting better with Cam and Grimes

Against all four SEC opponents, Harris has a completion percentage above 62%. Against Florida, it was 68%. Florida has 3 sacks/game, second in the SEC behind Alabama, 3.38 sacks/game.

It seems to me that Harris tends to air it out more against lesser teams. Two of his three highest YPA games were against OOC foes.

I don't expect Harris to air it out that much against Alabama. There will be some long passes; that's Cameron's MO. However, I expect more intermediate passes.

The best thing about this set of charts is what they don't show: a mobile, agile, hostile QB that is the bane of Alabama's defense. My biggest concern, however, is whether Harris will have the composure to know when to stay and throw and when to tuck and go. I have faith.

In all fairness, isn't Harris is the first QB that Coach Cam actively recruited here?
