Harris didn't play badly yesterday, but there were several times where he definitely looked uncomfortable. He looked a little rattled and rushed things on a couple of occasions, even more so than in the State game. He did have a lot of very catchable drops, was under pressure often, and was in a very loud building, so I guess this is understandable.

All that said, I was VERY impressed with the way he delivered when the team needed it. This would have been another nail biter if it hadn't been for his back to back big throws in the 4th quarter. I was also glad that the coaches showed the faith in him to make those calls. They didn't have much choice with LF out, but they could have just gone into the shell and run Guice or William straight into the line.

We will need Harris to run a critical 2 min drill at some point. The game can't always be on Fournette's shoulders alone. Today, he showed that he can handle that. If there is a positive other than Fournette's dominance to take away from yesterday's game, this is it.

not comparing Harris to Farve, but Farve threw 10 yard bullets and receivers were expected to catch them.

Yes wr group dropped some balls but he needs to take a little off of some of those throws on short throws. Touch will Come with experience

I agree. I'm not saying it was his fault. Well, there were a couple of occasions where he rolled out of the pocket and into the edge pressure, but other than those, it was on the line.

I just meant that it seemed to get in his head at times. Still, that's pretty naturally for a young QB.

There is something to be said for a little touch. However, the advantage of a QB with a good arm is the ability to beat the reaction of coverage. These WRs practice with Harris everyday, and should be used to the velocity by now. Bottom line- when the ball is dead in the hands, it needs to be a catch. Save the touch for a year or two from now when Harris is more experienced and better at reading the defense.

It was his worst game, IMO. He never seemed to be relaxed. And, he failed to see the blitz coming several times.

Lots of things to improve on. But, I think he's the guy to do it.
