I say we name kragthorpe the starter. Let his head get filled with nonsense, the pressure, secret playbook scheming, and mastering the difficult and complex task of properly handing off the ball, then after the 2nd 3 and out, let Jennings/Harris come in. His head will be clear from any sort of milesisms and he should be able to go in and just play ball. No risk of losing the starting job bc Kragthorpe will be the "starter" the next week as well.

The backup always plays better and there's a reason.

Honestly ,I dont think it matters.

You're right, it doesn't matter this year. Both will struggle and neither plays defense.

Go with Kragthorpe. Hell, he can pitch the ball back for the patented pitch dive play that we run 2 out 3 downs. Then on 3rd down he can chuck and duck as our porous OL lets the opposing DL filter through.

We averaged 6yds on first down runs.
It was infuriating that we couldn't capitalize on 2nd and short. Offenses should be dominating the down and distances we were in for the first quarter. We turned them into three and outs

Miles is stubborn for repeating plays that netted 6 yards a pop. But not stubborn for keeping in Harris, who was completely lost in the fist half. Rant Logic at its best.

Lack of passing to tight ends on 1st and 2nd down will continue to cause problems. We need to be more creative on offense. on 1st and 2nd down.

Prob both will play for awhile, until one really emerges and becomes consistent.

but it's an odd one in that we now have to compare who may be the worst at this point.

I'd say we're on pretty familiar ground if that truly turns out to be the case.
