Les; If you read this crap everyone posts on Tigerdroppings please take a minute and review the film (again....). Only B.S. I hear from the "Ranters" - and I do appreciate your point of view - is "who cares." Any arguments? I'm sure we can settle this amicably.....

Who cares?

INT, fumble...it's still a turnover. Whether they rule it a fumble or INT is irrelevant.

The ball didn't hit the ground....hence int.

The ball hitting the ground or not has nothing to do with whether it's called a fumble or an interception.

If the QB's arm is going forward while the ball is still in his hand, it's an interception. If not, it's a fumble.

I don't really care either, just thought it was a fumble. I'm sure if the ball has hit the ground and the recovered I they would have reversed the call if had been ruled a pass

There seems to be some disagreement about whether it was a fumble or an interception.

LSU says that it was NOT an interception. LINK

ESPN says that it was NOT an interception. LINK

CFB Stats says that it was NOT an interception. LINK

Sports Reference says that it was NOT an interception. LINK

The NCAA says that it was an interception. LINK
