Sorry if it was already discussed, but my head is pounding and my fingernails are gone down to the quick.

So do you think we will see Harris' leash get a little longer with each successful game this year? I mean, to an extent I can see how some of the play calling last night was to protect Harris and use our known "strengths". But if he continues to do as well as he did last night, on the road, in front of a (small) sell out crowd, then Les is going to have to cut him loose at some point.

Les only plays Bo Ball. He can't change.

I think we have to remember that this was his second start and LSU didn't want to put frankly the season on his shoulders this early. I would have loved to see LSU go for the kill a little earlier but if not for a few penalties that didnt need to be committed, LSU probably puts 35 on the board last night. I think they'll be fine but they knew what they had in LF7.

Remember, AJ McCarron at Alabama took until after the GOTC to really start putting things together his first season as a sophomore. Even really good QB's need reps. I think as he gets more reps and game experience you'll see it open up more.

Harris looked pretty comfortable. A few passes were high and the one the ref called incomplete before the play ended was low but you can see he has a cannon.

His running looked good and he gave the ball to the best RB in the nation instead of trying to run it himself. (SEE: A. Jennings - 2014)

Had AJ played last night, I think we would be 0-1. I don't think we would've built a 14-0 lead with him @ QB.

If AJ plays the play calling still would have been the same. Play calling was Fournette right, Fournette left and Fournette up the middle. Not Harris fault, but I did not see him do anything creative throwing the ball. His best asset right now is running. He gashed State last night on a few runs.....some by design and some were not.

I think they will give him a little more each week and I personally don't have a problem with that. I do think there were times in the game last night where they needed to let him make a play. Harris is potentially the QB for the next 3 years. I rather see him grow into a QB rather than be thrown into the fire and never have the mental makeup. I know how a Les Miles offense is ran but 2013 is proof that with a very good QB, they aren't afraid to be more pass happy.

I really think the offense is going to look remarkably different in November than it did last night.
