That penalty was legit and he's lucky he wasn't forced to leave the game. They didn't show it on the replay, but after the play was over, he was talking shite back and forth with an offensive lineman. When a ref tried to separate them, he forcefully (like almost a smack) pushed the ref out of the way. That's what the flag was thrown for.

This. They didn't catch it on the replay. But the penalty was called for making contact with the ref. Not the shite talking. Gotta make better decisions in the heat of the moment.

When that play happenes an ole miss player pushed him in the facemask and twisted his head to the ground when he was about to get up.

Understandable that he was heated, but still can't shove the ref out of the way with no consequence.

That offensive linemen was shoving his head in the ground at the end of the play which started it. If you recorded the game go back and watch it
