I wouldn't trust Hal mumme with a HS program much less a college one. How does this clown keep getting hired?

yup - none of the high schools they were trying to use were facilities Bellhaven would normally have used (per the updated NCAA rules)

The best part of Hal Mumme dripped down Jared Lorenzen's leg.

Hal Mumme's NCAA rules violations records are in their own category.

I would be willing to take this sob story seriously if it where 1995 or even 2000. But in 2017 coaches have virtually unilimted resources via the internet to scout kids. Likewise, kids have an opportunity to make themselves known to more potential coaches than at any point in recruiting history.

I feel like Roy Wally. "They don't close the state of Louisiana." If a coach wants to recruit a kid from here, he can. Coaches of smaller schools are using the tried and true "What about the children?" plea as cover for their real objective, getting money from out of state colleges for these camps.

And who give a shite what Hal Mumme thinks? Has there been a coach in recent memory with a bigger downward trajectory career than his? He's gone from an offensive innovator at Kentucky with the #1 draft pick at QB to the HC of Bellhaven University, which is barely more than a HS team.

He's a renegade, everyone knows it. No doubt got paid under the table by TX to encroach and get them in the door.

I predict we'll see in the not so distant future U of TX in trouble. They have too much money, too many big shot Texas booster Billy Bob's with money who want to hit it big again.

Hal Mumme should give Curley Hallman a call and see where he goes from here.

Local U of Texas Sports Radio was very butthurt yesterday that they got shut out of LA.

Went so far as to say LSU was scared of Tom Herman.

UT has been shite for so long even the fans don't realize that with Herman or without Texas is a major player.

I wonder what Tom Herman would think if LSU held a joint camp in Houston with Sam Houston State?

Maybe it's time for Coach O time reach out...

BUT IT'S ABOUT THE KIDS!!! YOU'RE TAKING OPPORTUNITY AWAY FROM THEM!!!

Michigan and Texas aren't coming for the 2-star and 3-star players that LSU isn't offering.

No it isn't. Schools can't hold satellite camps at off campus locations but there's nothing wrong with them "co-hosting" a camp at another school. The rule was to prevent a school like Michigan from doing something like renting the Superdome and running a camp.

What kind of sanctions are we going to get from the NCAA?
Hal himself got a program put on probation at UK so he has now corrected his tune.

Scholly losses?

Bowl ban?
