So painful- we had no answer for Guice. Nothing. Your QB was like 90% completion it felt. Our RBs looked frozen. Our QB couldn't seem to hit an open man. I have no idea how good LSU is after this game still. All I know is BYU is a very very bad team.

Our defense can play with anybody. The question is how far the offense will take us.

Time will tell. One thing for sure byu does not have the talent or the coaching LSU has.

I was a bit surprised at how overmatched BYU was. I honestly didn't expect such a dominating performance.

I was honestly impressed with BYU's defense. Other than 1 long pass, they stop our big plays. Guice got his yards but he paid for what he got. BYU will win more than they lose this year. They won't face a SEC defense every week.

I hope you're right- no doubt tgat LSU is far deeper and better than the rest of our schedule. But even when we had chances we still looked bad

After the PSU game, I thought y'all would have a decent day running against us. Talk about wrong.
Of course that PSU game easily confused anyone...
A) thought y'all saw enough to get a pecking order for RB
B) blew some huge holes, but against FCS
C) seemed Milesesque in the fact that after a run or two through huge holes insisted on passing. Seemed to want to force yourselves to be a passing team.
By insisting on passing on 1st down many times y'all made yourselves one dimensional. Not good against LSU. With hindsight, we would have made you one dimensional anyway.
Y'all also chose not to test the young LBs by making us go side to side in the run game. 2nd mistake. Might have found some success there, maybe enough to have not become one dimensional so early.

If LSU would have been at full strength it would definitely have been 40 something to zip.

I hope BYU has a good year. The BYU fans I met were very nice. Enjoyed talking to them pregame. And FWIW they put my betting to shame. We watched Boise cover by 1/2 point on my phone. He had a grand on it.
