Well I don't think this sport gets much attention here. Looks like they got a number 2 national seed. Anybody in the know know why they didnt get a 1 seed and home match? They weren't a top 6? Looks like maybe Georgia got it? But LSU beat Georgia during the year and at the SEC match, and LSU was ranked higher. What gives?

This is like the sixth or seventh gymnastics thread I've seen on either the Tiger Rant or the SEC Rant in the last three days without a single f'ing pic.

ok, I will take the bait, this 36 year coach has won 1 sec in 36 years, none since 1981 and we have finished in the bottom half of the 7 team SEC conf 11 of past 13 years! This year we came in 3rd of 7 (way to go DD!). Now there are only about 40 D1 teams in whole sport so a #6 ranking in Gym is like a top 45 in Basketball (same %). As for this year, we did beat UGA in SEC trny and 1 of 2 during season, so that does appear like we may have gotten shafted. However, the real shaft is one of the least respected coaches here ever(ask most anyone in AD bldg) who never leaves and never wins....6th is very good, but when it is 3-4 in your conf, not so much...ok sainsfan and alum come and get me..lol
ps, I went twice this year and REALLY like this team, one of our best ever (beat UGA, UF!), yet with DD, same old song, girls work hard, finish 3-4 in 7 team conf!

You already know what I'm going to say. Bama was struggling early then the cartel made it's move, they got hot and started beating everybody. At least they let Florida get the SEC title, that's nice of them.
Also I'd imagine DD is going to retire sooner rather than later and Clark will take over. Hopefully he can bring in some Olympians like he they did at UGA and his 2nd time succeeding goes smoother than the 1st.
