Hold your horses. I like your thinking but let's wait until next year to start comparing him to Bo Jackson.

NICE!!!

Pretty much mirror images with Guice being slightly better. Now THAT is saying something there!!!

Guice has enough of a workload already to start drawing comparisons to some of the SECs best IMO

do you really need another season of him running over and around everyone again to validate him?

Next year Guice will be a Jr. So comparing his sophomore year to Bo Jackson's sophomore year will be stupid. He'll have to compare their Jr. years as the time for comparing Sophmore years will have passed. I think OP has it right. Compare the two's Sophomore seasons while Guice is a sophomore.

Would be getting Heisman talk if we didn't lose so many. Unreal for not starting several games.

Give credit where credit is due. He isn't comparing him to BJ, technically. He is comparing his sophomore stats to BJ's sophomore stats.

Right college, wrong player.

Guice reminds me a lot of Cadillac Williams. Runs hard with an ability to make guys miss. He always looks like he's setting up his next move almost to the point of looking out of control.

Fournette on the other hand compares more to Bo Jackson. Like Fournette, there wasn't a whole lot of "wiggle" when Bo ran. He was just a powerful man who hit the hole with incredible speed for a guy that big. If you were in the way, you got ran over. Bo and Fournette weren't all that interested in making guys miss. They just ran through them

Just curious, what made you think to make this comparison?

It's an apples to apples comparison.

The numbers, yes. The style of RB, no. Which is why I'm curious what made him think to compare their numbers. Fournette and Jackson, yeah. I would compare Guice's style to a Kevin Faulk, Marshall Faulk, Warrick Dunn, etc.

We had Herschel Walker and Bo Jackson at the same time and didn't win the SEC. Dammit, Les.
