...should have happened this week after reviewing the film. That was the worst OL performance by LSU I have seen.

The funny thing is that Les Miles history of jobs is O-line and OC. He fails horribly at both so many years.

I agree...but Cameron is such a close second that I think we should just fire Les.

just have to wonder if his unit performing terribly is also a product of an offense that rarely breaks tendencies and is very predictable. He did have success with Va. Tech.

Normally I would agree. But when an lineman is doing a pirouette instead of run blocking that's coaching.

Agree. How do you have veterans returning and they don't have a clue on who to block in the same scheme we've always had. If Malone is the best we have at tackle we are in huge trouble looking at his play that game.

Agreed. I'd bet there were more missed blocks than plays ran. And by missed I don't mean just whiffed. I'm talking total misunderstanding of the blocking scheme require on a given play.

Hate on Harris all you'd like, but he had people running at him unabated all afternoon last Saturday. Last play is perfect demonstration of the OL's ineptitude.

I would just like to see how they block when in spread formations

He came here with much fanfare and he is supposed to be a good recruiter but his O lines sure have underachieved.

Miles is such an arse not hiring an LSU guy that could have had a huge impression on recruits and players...an all pro and ex tiger great

You are aware that firing Cameron would have no change on the offensive production, right? LSU's offensive woes predate Cameron

Yes he should. The offensive line play was atrocious. I still can't get over how bad they played.

You know what I can almost see what Miles is probably seeing when they watched game film and saying they were close. Two of the worse plays I saw was that screen to Fournette and the 4th down run that on both "if" the line would have made their blocks Fournette more than likely take both in for TD's.

Please stop with the Mawae bs, it's really stupid to even post that.
The worst thing to happen to studrawa was getting promoted to offensive coord, probably the best line coach LSU has ever had.

So ignorant and part of the thinking on why we're saddled with Johnny Jones. Though in that case at least Johnny had some head coaching experience, Mawae had NEVER coached offensive line at any level.

How about we just start at the top and work our way down when it comes to firing this go around

Of course I'm aware of that. Are you aware that my post says that we should fire Les?

Why stop with Mawae? He should have been hired, discussion over with. Look I don't know what went on in the offensive line meeting and film session but I can tell you I would have been ripping shite off the wall. That was the most despicable, unacceptable show of fundamental blocking ever!!
