Firstly, obviously all that matters is how the teams collectively. But I was just thinking of how fun it's gonna be to watch the three studs we watch in all 3 big sports! Thinking about Fornette, Lange, and Simmons

When he finished his 4 years at LSU he held the SEC record for career passing yards and TDs

Hodson was mentioned in the Heisman conversation after his soph year, but never made the next step. Still would be considered close to a star.

1988 game vs Auburn on ESPN if you have any doubts. This was the definition of toughness and leadership, if you have any doubts. Let me know if you want to visit my home so that I can show you my VHS tape of the game.....

BTW, Hodson was asked to appear in videos by LSU to promote his Heisman candidacy. He quietly contacted the University and declined his participation in the promotion because he was uncomfortable with the promotion of one player (himself) over the concept of team.

What a concept! Can you imagine that happening today with a Heisman candidate today?

Dude, he was 1st team All-SEC QB FOUR times! That has never happened before or since and I'll wager it will never happen again.

All-time leading passer; multiple All-SEC teams; made it to the NFL; yeah he was a college star. Still think the '87 team that finished 5th I believe, possibly plays for the NC if Hodson doesn't get injured and have to miss the 'Bama game.
