I know the announcement wouldn't come during the game because of the different kickoff times, but I can't help but think how awesome it would be if, in a reversal of 2007, Tiger Stadium went crazy after it was announced USC had upset Oregon.

IF we win Sat night, LSU fans will become the biggest USC fans in the nation. They have a chance to single handedly get a one-loss SEC team into the NC by defeating both ORE and ND.

(insert obligatory "we just need to take care of business and not get ahead of ourselves")

Kickoff is 6 PM our time, so we should get the final score sometime during the second half.

I am a huge USC fan right now. I hope they beat both Oregon and Notre Dame. The problem then comes if we beat Bama and Kansas St loses too. Uh oh rematch mulligan alert.

Unfortunately we need them to beat both Notre Dame and Oregon... the way they look now they will beat neither.

The point is we probably won't jump Oregon and Notre Dame unless they lose.

We beat Bama and were in. We lose, no way. A repeat won't happen. That being said. USC can bet ND, just want the ducks to stomp them.

No way a one loss LSU or even a one loss Bama gets in over an undefeated ORE or K State. The rest of the country would be quite content to see the SEC fail to make the BCSCG.

K st gonna lose!

People keep saying they don't see it.. but amongst those 3 games remaining.. surely they should drop one. Most likely to Okie St who's offense is number 1 and defense is playing lights out atm.

K State could absolutely lose, but it's not beyond reason to think they could win out. Oregon will likely have to beat USC twice, and if SC plays well, the talent on that Trojan team can take down the Quack Attack.
