About ten minutes after the game ended, after most of the field cleared, Jalen Mills ran out to midfield, knelt down and kissed the eye to say his good-bye to Tiger Stadium and his football career there.

I know, csb, but it was a pretty powerful moment and one that most of us only dream of having.

Best wishes to the young man. He's been a baller since his freshman year.

Jalen Mills had his ups and downs at LSU, but he's pretty much the last remaining guy from the 2012 team (a very good team).

I'll always remember him.

Got to meet him on a Fourth of July trip that he came on with some family of mine.. He was a super down to earth guy but was scared to swim in the bayou ... Wouldn't take off his socks

His celebration after that interception against Wisconsin is what I'll remember most.

HE then saw chief running back to the visitors locker room and ran up and gave him a hug. Class guy. Another defensive player did as well but I didn't catch who. I appreciate all the players that decide to come to LSU no matter how their careers turned out.

These are the kids that I love to see wearing P&G. They fully understand the honor of running out of that tunnel on a Saturday night. As most NFL players will testify, it's not Sundays they remember after retiring, it's the Saturdays.

Taking the polar opposite approach, from everything I've heard, Chief not only did not go out of his way to find any of his former players, he did everything but avoid them.

He also ran around the field 1 last time as the team was singing the alma mater. Didn't see him acknowledge Chief. White definitely did though.

Mills was the one running a lap and actually dodged Chief from where I was sitting. White acknowledged him, but Mills looked to give him the stone cold shoulder.

you might have been right. It was two players I might have gotten the names mixed up.

Looking forward to watching him play in the NFL, I really think he'll do well.

No. Both ran up and gave Chief a hug and Chief responded very positively.

God, that's really cool. Can't wait to see him in the pros and best of luck to him.

No, Mills was waiting at the goal line right in front of me when Chavis ran out and they hugged.
