Yeah, apparently there was nothing on the outside of the windows that they could attach the boards to but still wanted to protect the inside of the store. I agree it's funny though.

By the way, anyone doubting this story should know that my dad emailed Dandy Don this story and Don confirmed that he was also at that game and remembered this also.

Funny story, and probably true. We've had some fearless (a.k.a. batshit crazy) Reveilles over the years--I've heard stories about her charging Bevo and the coloradoes' buffalo, too.

Thank ya sir. I plan on sticking around, 'cause I sincerely believe A&M is headed to the SEC sooner rather than later. Plus I'm a fan of this board and the Fark board. There's some talent around here.

Thanks as well. My account was created at the first of the season, and I have really enjoyed these boards. Some late nights posts might be a little hops induced but it’s all in good fun from my end. Here’s to a good time at the CB.

Are they taking Mike to the Cotton Bowl this year? If so, I hope that Reveilie doesn't get close to him. Apparently, this Mike gets really agressive when he sees dogs and pets. That is why there are "no pets allowed" signs around his enclosure.

Used to sit in the south endzone with my cousins back in the 60's and 70's, right under the scoreboard. Nothing but old men, lazy boy scouts and bunch of kids. One year after the A&M band finished playing and do their tradional run off the field, I hollar. "Last one off the field is a Aggie. Got a few laughs.
