I have no doubt in my mind, that the N-bomb was dropped by the "victims" and that is what literally kicked off the arse whippin. I think the guys were honking and yelling for them to get out of the way, players were being dicks by not moving, and the n-bomb was dropped, then the hammer got dropped on them.

This is how I see it happening too.

Would you call 30 (or however many it was) college athletes the "N word"?

I doubt they knew or thought it was football players. But there is a thing called liquid courage.

so the victims actually beat up each other and kicked each other in the face right ?

Wait, is it illegal to fight or is it illegal to win a fight? So if you get in a fight and lose, you're a victim? Man, shite has changed since I was in the bar scene.

Well if rumors are true and that it started with Landry, then I could see where this courage came from...Landry isn't the biggest guy. Then the "victims" saw Davenport and said, "oh frick".

Most people in general wouldn't do it, but it is still possible of happening.

I saw some loser in the rec who was really small try to start shite with Harry Coleman several years back. You wouldnt expect that shite to happen either, but it did. Quinn Johnson had to help Coleman cool down. I thought I was about to see Harry destroy the guy.

The thing was the guy started shite with Coleman for no reason and when Coleman tried to just walk away the guy continued to try and provoke him.

i agree they should tell the truth. of course you realize truth is subjective. you could still get wildly different stories. You might think that you were hearing about over a dozen different events.

Plus, they need to apologize for their part. even if the "victims" share blame for their part, our players can only handle responsibility for their part, if they overreacted, went too far. they could apologize for hurting the guys. no injuries appear too serious.

A lot of times, in these incidents, what people want most of all is an apology and an admission of some wrongdoing. they don't want to hurt the LSU football program - at the same time they have strong feelings that they dont want to be made to feel non-important.

I never said tell the truth, I said they should tell what really happened.

The truth will be decided after hearing both sides of the story. And then, soneone will combine the statements and try to determine what the truth is.

Each person involved will have a different story.

Who says the "victims" didn't instigate this fight? Just because you got your arse kicked doesn't mean you didn't start it.

It's comical how so many fans here think that the football players would instigate this unprovoked attack... How brain dead are some of y'all?
