That article is poorly reasoned and makes little sense. It was probably written by a guy who's only experience with college football is what he see's on TV when at bars trying to pick up other dudes.

Yeah, comparing Conference pride to time zones is a great analogy, that is if your time zones compete in a national sports and is an association of prestigious places of higher learning!
