After the debacle last season Les had to be fired before the seasons end. It's the only way potential candidates would have taken a potential opening seriously.

Cam sucked a big bag of dicks at his job. Les let him keep sucking at his job and never learned how to manage a clock.
Still not giving that idiot Alleva any credit. This was an obvious move that didn't take much thought.

He was ready. The biggest misconception about last year was Alleva. Alleva has always been the one looking out for LSU's best interest. Some of our fans couldn't see that, and I don't know where this ends, but at least it is now apparent that he knows what he is doing.

Pretty sure this plan has been in place all season just waiting for a chance to be implemented. I imagine this was contingency number one.

I've read the decisions were made above Alleva.
