Got both of our QB recruits back. Narcisse recommitted

After losing a handful of recruits to bama and having decommittments, it's nice that both QB's are back on board. That's a position (like LB) that we are in dire need

It is great news and I am pleasantly surprised in how quickly Coach Canada has made a difference on that side of the ball.
I am still concerned about defensive recruiting with respect to top Louisiana LBs jetting to Bama and a lack of Dline depth.

Its still not a good thing that we had to spend time and resources to get already committed players back into the fold.

What? We had solid verbal committments from both until orgeron publicly offered a qb that was never coming here.
Instead of focusing all out time and resources on uncommitted recruits we had to spend time and resources on getting them BACK into the fold. You dont understand recruiting if you think this was a positive for lsu. While everything eventually worked out it couldve bee horribly bad by missing out on Brennan and Narcisse.
At not time did i say them recommitting was a bad thing. Its great and a good job by the staff.
It wouldve been better had we stayed the course and not had to use time and resources on getting them BACK into the fold.
There is a huge difference between talking to a recruit to tell them tey are still our guy and having to talk to recruits to get them to recommit.

We are DOOOOMED!!!
Recruiting is a continuous process. Even the "hard commits" need continuous recruiting. Last second flips are common. Until the papers are signed every prospect is a suspect.

The sad thing is that Rickdaddy is one of the biggest shite stirrers on the board and seems to have no other issues in life to keep him busy other than playing on this site all day

If you dont think there is a difference between the time and resources you spend on verbally committed recruits and recruits youre trying to get to recommit then i dont know what to tell you.
