What kind of place are you looking for? Used to be stationed there.. not sure if any alum bars there. But there's a wide range of places from shithole to nice. You over by the airport?

I'll be at Sheraton Waterside. Just a sports bar is fine, anyplace where people will actually be interested in the game and not care if I drink recklessly while saying Geaux! Geaux! Geaux! everytime one of our boys breaks off a long run from scrimmage.

The main drag over by you is Granby street. Baxters is the kind of upscale sports bar there, there's also a buffalo wild wings, and an AJ gators (trashier bww)

ETA, hooters is right on the water right there by you... Hooters is hooters though. soo..

I "live" 70 miles from there and trust me people up here could care less about college football and to be honest sports in general. I have a LSU mancave that beats anything you will see.

I think Rex lives in Va Beach. He may have some recommendations for the Hampton Roads area.

Dude Norfolk is the Naviest Navy town in the country. Tons of military and retirees. I can guarantee you there are a bunch of sports fans.

Richmond is even worse. There are couple of places in the west end, but that is 30 miles from my house and I don't drink milk during LSU games.

Baxter's or Roger Brown's. Both are awesome places with great food and atmosphere.

was stationed up there for five years up until 2 years ago your best bet would be to catch a cab to the bdubs downtown Norfolk (i say catch a cab because traffic there sucks and if your having a few drinks you arent gonna want to drive in it) because its so heavily military the local places arent what you would expect down here. Aj gators is great for gettin a beer but I never cared for the food and since your out of town im guessin gettin some food is high up on your priority list. Also Jillians used to be nice but I think it closed down and changed into a gameworks not sure how the food is now.
