He constantly does that crap. The guys sit most of the first half, never get into the flow of the game in the 2nd half, and end the game with 2-3 fouls.

I mean we ended half down 3. Game never got out of hand and its pretty standard to sit with 2 in first half.

I know of no coach who does it with such a hard rule.
They played bad because they sat so much in the first half. Happens all the time when JJ does this.

It's conceding that player will be a non factor the rest of the game. Aside from the flawed reasoning behind sitting them for the half in that situation, it completely takes them out of the rhythm of the game whenever they come back.

Should have been winning at halftime. Florida shot 0-10 from three, and about 39% from the free throw line but were still winning.
You're not going to win SEC road games with your best players on the bench. We gripe about this stupid philosophy every time, and it always bites us in the butt. Can't always blame the game on the last 2 minutes, it's a 40 minute game and all of it counts.

TQ not playing in the first half didn't hurt us in the slightest.
If he hadn't played in the second half the outcome wouldn't have been any worse for sure.
