Good Luck Katz in the Homerun Derby

Taking place tonight, but NO TV coverage. Will be aired Saturday afternoon by CBS.

i dont see anything on their website about a homerun derby....the cape is still playing games

Just got home from the event. Katz did a great job representing the Tigers, although you don't see many guys get hit by a pitch in a HR derby.

Yeah, don't want to ruin it for everyone, but it's worth watching Saturday. Also met Bo Jackson so not a bad ticket for five bucks.

I'd rather find out now so I don't have to waste 2 hours watching more commercials than actual HR Derby action.

I see your point. So first round, Katz hit seven. I think second place was four or five, and a few guys ended up with nothing. Katz hit another five in the second round, so he was on top with 12 and two guys behind him ended up tied with 8. Without any tie breaker, both of those guys made it in. Scores all reset, and Katz came up short in the final round. Justice from Fresno St won with I think 8 in the final round, and Katz had four or five. Nice to see him come up here and do well though.
