Almost threw my remote at that same damn fake FG that Miles always calls and that the entire Florida fanbase screams to look out for. We made it respectable and showed that we aren't a fluke. But you earned it. Maybe we'll see you in Atlanta. Say hi to Tom Cruise for me.

Florida has a terrific team. You'll win the East, I'm pretty sure. And, yep, if LSU takes care of business we'll be seeing each other again.

I think when it's all said and done, Coach McElwain will be proven to be a home run hire for Florida. That Gator team played as hard as any UF team I've seen since the BCS Championship years.

UF is going to be in Atlanta, I just hope we are too!

How did you think the Gators played?

I thought the Defense was good as advertised. Harris played Ok, made some nice runs a few passes...

The Gators run game was not what you would expect from Florida, and passing seems to be average, better than LSU's last year.

I thought LSU looked different in the 2nd half offensively..

Big plays change the outcome

When we fumbled early and then gave up the punt return, I thought it was going to be a long night for the Tigers, but after the first half I really thought LSU was the better team.

Our special teams is terrible even though we did score a TD on the fake

It's been 5 years since Les did that

Our defense sucked in the first half. As soon as we didn't wrap up Harris on that Hail Mary I said, Damnit, that's a touchdown and sure enough, touchdown. Gave Harris all day long in the first half. Our offense played very well considering this was Treon's first start of the year against a real team. We had basically no run game at all and that really hurt.

I swear to God, I will personally drive to Gainesville and hand deliver an essay on Les Miles and his Playstation fake fg/punt horse**** that he pulls every single game against us to McElwain to make sure this doesn't happen again.

Bottom line, we're playing with house money and the LSU game doesn't really mean anything to us this year as far as our team goals are. It would have been a nice win, but we kept it respectable and had 2 chances to tie or win it in the end. Can't ask for anything more.

LF falls down for 5 yards. Unreal. But we kept him under his average, so small victory there.

After 4 years of Muschamp, I can't be happier with my Gators this year. It's fun watching Florida football again. Now we have a great opportunity to beat the hell out of Georgia.

Question for you, gator. Do gator fans feel it would have been a different game with Grier at QB? Most of the ESPN talking heads...no experts, I know...are saying not. As to holding Fournette below his average, he said after the game that that was the best & most physical defense he's played against all yr. But then, remove a few lost yrds & add one more 15 yd run late & he would have still had his 200 yrds. Mr. Cruise said it was "memoriable & exciting beyond belief"....if that helps.

The last two drives may have turned out differently. Grier is a lot faster in his decision making process. It's not out of the realm of possibility that we win that game with Grier. But hey, it is what it is. LSU is a good team and I'm not the kind to cry about things.
