Made my plans last week to get ahead of the price increase(I had faith negatigers). Taking my dad for his first trip and my 9yr old son. Going to be a blast. Flying out of BR on Friday on the 6PM flight

I booked while I was at the second game of the year in the opening series. Staying downtown two blocks from the stadium. Praying my hotel ends up as LSU hotel.

Trying to pull the trigger. Trying to fly, but if one of my friends wants to make it a road trip we might do that.
Need to find out soon though, these flight prices are insane. (I don't travel much)

Look out of some other airports nearby. It's a 15 hour drive. Lafayette, New Orleans, Hattiesburg, Alexandria. If you leave on Thursday to drive up, stop in Little Rock or Fayetteville to split the trip up.

Driving up Thursday with and stop over on the way staying at a La Quinta on the cheap but still looking for the dates LSU plays for tickets!

Fly out Saturday morning from Nola . Staying at Embassy Suites in Old Market, which I'm hearing could be team hotel.

Team hotels have been right around Old Market in past - Doubletree (LSU in 2013), Hilton Garden Inn, Hilton by stadium (two teams), Embassy Suites and Hyatt Place (LSU in 2015). Missing one or two.

I guess I didn't realize Embassy was part of it. I usually stay at Garden Inn. Breakfast is on point just like the Embassy but much closer to the stadium. Stayed at the homewood one year, and that walk was nice

LSU needs to make sure they get in the 2009 hotel.

It's my dad's 70th this year so I told him back in January I'm taking him to Omaha. There was no way to wait until last minute, vacation had to be planned in advance, so I just said f it, roll the dice. I figured with Lange and the seniors returning, this year was as good a chance as we'll get to plan it ahead of time.
