If Texas has great season, Herman is ours!!!

Can't figure out why so many of you believe that.

Texas looks good. Their offense looks good.

Might like watching them this year.

Highly doubtful.

Hard to believe that he will just drop everything and say I want to deal with those Jackasses in Louisiana...it's gotta be easier than these Texas folk

Why is Tom Herman so unattainable for LSU?
Is LSU completely devoid of a fertile recruiting ground? Is LSU not willing to pay assistant coaches lots of money? Is the LSU job not as good as Houston?
I can understand if we were trying to lure Saban from Bama or Urban from Ohio State or even someone like Chris Peterson from Washington but why is Herman just totally out of the realm of possibility?

Exactly. Give this guy double or triple what Houston can give him, and tell him to hire and fire who he wants the program
Is his.. I would bet money he would jump, we need to be quick and not wait though.

Houston offered him 5 million once they join the Big 12.

What if Herman agreed to come, but insisted on bringing his whole staff? We've got a lot of good assistant coaches/ recruiters.

I think it's perfectly attainable! I'd think he would even take LSU over UT and aTm because we're in the SEC and were simply a better program than aTm. Just concerned UT could outbid us with $$$$

He's really not. He won't be cheap, but neither is 4 million per year. I'd really like a complete clearing of house. From Alleva to Miles. Hire a new competent AD that does whats best for the program in terms of wins not dollars. Let him hire the new coach. Interview Arnada, if you think he's ready go for it. If not throw the house at Herman.

Not necessarily but it'd make it easier for us to get him

The problem would be every time TX or aTm has a vacancy Herman would be the leading candidate. If u hire a good OC Orgeron could be the HC.

surprised TAMU isn't on that list.

I say Doug Meacham from TCU
