He won a national championship. He gets a life pass and gets to walk out the door when he is good and ready.

What do the following coaches have in common?
1) Larry Coker
2) Nick Saban
3) Les Miles
4) Bob Stoops
5) Urban Meyer
6) Gene Chizik
7) Jimbo Fisher

I believe they are the only active coaches to have a national title. They all deserved the chance to leave when they want to leave. Schools that fire head coaches with a national title deserve to get crap as their replacements.

Only if Texas gets Saban to go to Texas with more millions than Alabama can offer?

If Saban doesn't go to Texas he will get a big raise from Ala. which may put more fan pressure to win more NCs.

I've been critical of him many times and he's deserved it. This is his longest losing streak and this is the worst I've seen a Les coached team play. BUT, this was never supposed to be the year. SEC media had us 4th in the conference, some had us 4th or 5th in the SECw. preseason polls had us around 15. We have a ton of young talent, mostly too young to leave! Let Les ride LF and company again with a year of experience, winner take all.

You couldn't have posted this on one of the million other "keep Les one more year" threads, could you?

You HAD to start a new thread, didn't you?

Why did you have to post in my thread? You couldn't have posted in one of the other threads?

Maybe because there isn't one on the first 5 pages?
