So much trash on one show. I'd rather choke myself with a belt than watch that.

Alleva deserves to be trashed. He was lazy and incompetent in the way he handled this search.

There was no search. Orgeron was Alleva's guy all along. Joe likes bargain basement types, Cheapos, look at his basketball hire.

Seems like a reasonable prediction to me. Doesn't sound like "trashing" us

"trashing" is defined by some people on this board as any opinion or statement that isn't glowing praise of an LSU coach, player, or administration.

He's just pointing out that O is a risk hire and the constant struggle to have good Coordinators on staff.

It is very obvious that he doesn't like Alleva and was pro-Jimbo Fisher.

Sallee seems to like the hire, but I usually let his comments go through one ear and out the other.

He did predict we would struggle this season...

What would be the purpose to bash the Orgeron hire? Does this benifit our university? Does it do anything to bring stability to the program? So what's the purpose? What does his statements do to promote LSU? Or is his purpose to create as much havoc, divide the following, or just consider this a path to build a name for himself?
Orgeron has changed the character of our program. You can't tell me that you sit in tiger stadium and don't see a change. The players are excited & the fanbase is excited. In the last 7 games, LSU has set 5 new offensive records, none of which were set under the previous two head coaches.....and I don't care who they were set against!
He has secured his DC and going after the best OC in the country. He will recruit great and set this program in right direction.
Gilbeau has never looked after the best for LSU....only Gilbeau!

Guilbeau has always given an unbiased view of LSU. I used to get mad when he would poor mouth LSU's chances each season, but every year he was proven correct.
GG is not paid to be a fricking Cheerleader for LSU or anybody else.

The problem is that most of the little Lump Pom Pom Wavers can't handle the truth. The "Truth" interrupts and interferes with their "Sunshine and Unicorns" version of LSU Athletics.

There needs to be more GG's out there telling it like it is in the public view, instead of holding the company line like most...........

Hate to break it to you, but it's not his job to promote LSU. If you just want an LSU mouth piece then listen to the LSU sports radio network. GG isn't employed by LSU and has no obligation to promote LSU. He's simply a columnist that writes about whatever his opinion is...and more power to him if he has a negative opinion of something LSU did. You don't have to agree with him, but to get mad because a journalist speaks his mind instead of catering to insecure fans is pretty pointless and stupid.

No...my complaint is to someone that writes a column, not to express his opionion but create dissension and division. Looks like he's succeeded!

Sounds right. Most coaches get about 3 years to prove themselves. Short term

So you think his sole intention is to create division? Bud, I don't know you but this just sounds retarded. It's his opinion! If it creates division and dissention that's not his fault. If he wrote that LSU should all come together and support coach O and everything is great and he loves the hire and all of Louisiana should rejoice, do you really think that would work? That all of a sudden everyone would magically agree on everything and love every decision?

See how ridiculous that sounds?

You're exactly my point! You want to now critize me because I've expressed my opinion. You the one hooked my man.
