What is your opinion on how to move forward?

What I think is to give each QB (Ettling and Scott) split time against Jacksonville St to get a relative comparison on performance.

Etling needs to start, everyone needs to know what is or isnt there....you never know, he could be the next YA Tittle, especially with the QB evaluators on this staff.

I think they can evaluate their pitches on the toss dive in practice

Explain why he "should" start? Because he might be good? The coaches obviously aren't as confident with him in there as Harris.

Can you imagine if we dumbed down our play book for a new starter

We will likely re-shuffle the OL until it is again exposed at UF, OM, or Bama. I just don't know if we get by Auburn or Florida, which would be impossible to recover from (and, no, I don't think we recover regardless... 8-4 is the ceiling, which is still prob enough to get rid of Miles since they will all be ugly and filled with undiscipline and coaching errors.)

Defense will improve (although that would seem to depend upon our 2 young corners puttin on 15 lbs of muscle before the season is over if we're gonna keep asking them to tackle TEs). I have faith that the D will improve under Aranda, but there's no reason to put our DBs in a soft-zone. His biggest strength was supposed to be getting the most out of his players. They were recruited to play man.

An injury up front or the team quitting if they drop 2 more before Ole Miss will end the hope of the defense improving as well.

The offense will force us to lose at least 4 games. Just won't be fixed.

Honestly, I don't want Les to have the opportunity to Infect another QB. Fire him now and then we can talk QB change.
