Getting to a Regional will be big for this team

Given that its a rebuilding year and our pitchers have lost their mojo, realistically if this team can make it to a regional, it will be an achievement.
I dont expect anything more than that!

MAKING a regional should be expected every year for a program of this caliber.
Now HOSTING this year would be more of an achievement.

One of those got the coach fired, the very next year had a new coach in a major rebuilding effort.

Exactly, so not only would missing a regional NOT live up to expectations, at LSU it is basically a job ending consequence.

I think this team hosts and wins a regional. I could see us winning a super regional. We don't have the depth or consistency in our pitching staff to sniff winning the cws.
