He's been improved and acceptable on D. Wish he would have made that put back basket because get a few points on rebounds would go a long way to giving us more options in the lineup.

Good to see him showing signs of life.

Oh, and nobody looks better running back on defensive transitions than him. It's like 5 strides and boom!

Kid definitely hustles and moves well for his size. If he could just improve his post up game, he would do damage in the league.

I used to think I would never witness another player more unathletic and over his head in SEC basketball than Ludwig. Malone has proven me wrong

ETA: Both guys try their asses off though

He's still taking an absolute beating physically on the block. For the life of me, I couldn't understand why UGA wasn't pounding it down low to start the 2nd ot. Seemed like it was there anytime they needed it.

He hustles his arse off though, I'll give him that.

Darcy had a much better game against UGA. I'm assuming he'll start, again, on Saturday morning.

I wish I could remember the tool who said odo has changed our team and made our front court tougher and better defensively. I said the "the center who starts is only giving about 5 minutes" and he went off saying I'm not a fan because I didn't say odo.

Defense was okay, but how about that brick from one foot away?

If he would not play so soft, he could be much more effective. He acts like any kind of contact might break him into pieces.

If he just placed his arms straight up when playing defense instead or crouching over the player he guards, he would be solid.

He led the team with 3 offensive rebounds in only 8 minutes. He has to finish the easy baskets but as he gets more PT I think he will make those. He probably got too excited seeing he doesn't get in much.

While he isn't great, I think he did fine. Took up 8 minutes and didn't put us in a bad spot.

He had an awful moment or two. But the other 8 or 9 opportunities he got, he affected the play and turned the ball back out.

I get it that he's not a second coming of Moses Malone, but for a guy I didn't think would sniff the court this year, he's contributing and learning on the job.

It's nice to see.

See SoS above. I mentioned that he blew an easy put back. Give it time and experience... he's probably freaking out that he has a ball in his hands in actual game time and rushing things.

Let him settle down over the next 6-7 games, get some confidence, keep giving some minutes of mostly solid D and come the end of the year, he'll get time in important games when we need him.

I'm sorry every student athlete on LSU's teams don't live up to the Adonis expectations of you millenials right off the bat.
