Interesting. That bodes well for Quarterman but I hope Hickey doesn't backslide again if he loses his spot.

I heard Coach Jones on the radio and he specifically referenced returning vets Stringer, Coleman and JOB 3 for their leadership in blending with the incoming kids, but omitted Hickey in that reference.

Not sure if that was on oversight or a message?

I hope not, I love HIck. He kinda fell a bit too in love with the 3 late last year and got away from distributing a bit, which I think he can really make some hay with this year given the new additions.

Quarterman's gonna play some point, of that there's no question. How much? That's the question.

Hey, if he's as good as he thinks he is (the kid if very confident from what I've read and heard) hell let the best man play.

That will be his biggest challenge, knowing who to play when and it what combinations.

But I'm ready to see him move those chess pieces.

Yes I may take a little while and some line ups will depend on who our opponent is on a given night

I wonder when are they gonna send out season tickets? First game is Nov. 6th.

Have always enjoyed your brother's play. I remember when he was being recruited/after he signed, there was video of him on youtube making jumpers from mid-court and dunking. Always wanted to see him dunk in a game. He seems to struggle some when he drives and gets too deep under the goal, would like to see him try to go ahead and go up and shoot and maybe draw some fouls, but easier said than done. Hope he has much continued success.

Also remember a couple of years ago he and Hickey gave the Kentucky guards all they wanted, even though in a loss.

If Andre would have entered the dunk contest at bayou madness he would've won it easily.

No way. I think the talk is Jones way of pushing Hickey.
