Not everything a coach tries works. No question the fake field goal was a bad decision. But that doesn't make a coach bad. Miles has a reputation for trying trick plays on gut feel. I kinda like that.

I am just tired of his making excuses most of the time, great coaches do not make dumb arse decisions. The fake field goal was the worse yet. And finaly he is going to run up the middle even if the middle is a brick wall

again JMO, I never call someone an idiot for their opinions, please tell me where I was wrong

1. You were wrong when you said great coaches don't make "dumb arse" decisions. That's crap. 2. LSU did not run "up the middle" and Bama's defense was certainly no "brick wall"

You are judging the decision by the outcome. Bad decisions often work and great decisions sometimes don't.

What we have is a few douchebag fans, like you, who've never competed at anything more than rock, paper, scissors and don't get it.

I was excited that Miles did what he did yesterday. None of it worked, but it damn sure fired up the team and made Bama think a little bit.

I loved it. Period. End of story.

From my count Les Miles made two questionable decisions, the fake FG and the long FG.

The onside kick and the 4th and 1 were not bad decisions IMO, but some are saying they were because they didn't work out. I wish I lived in hindsight world.

At least he has the balls to try, which most coaches don't, and it's why most coaches won't sniff his level of success.

I think you're trying to say that great coaches do not HABITUALLY make boneheaded play calls and mistakes of the kind we see regularly under the current regime.

Which would explain the string of losing seasons?

Three bad calls. Fake FG, Run up the middle on 4th and 1 and that Long FG. Should of punted. Besides that, the coaches had an excellent game plan. They played their best second half of the year. Mett showed what he is capable of and hill will be one of the best Rb's. Now i am leaving out the worst decision of the game. Prevent D with over a minute and a half. Come on. Play what you done all night and we win the game. Win out and play in a pretty good bowl game and have a top 5-Recruiting class!!

If any of his bad trick plays had worked, we would all be talking about how the Mad Hatter was back. My only complaint was the last possession when we tried it up the middle to burn the clock. Mett was finally on fire and the WRs were catching. Four passes would have been better than what I saw. One first down would have sealed the deal. Les's trick plays didn't cause the lose. Chavis's prevent D the last Bama possession sealed the deal.

First of all, Let's not be like most of the other Fan bases. We have a great coach. Sure he makes some "Bad" calls, but lets remember what some of those calls have done for us in the past. We have a river boat gambler. The only thing about last nights game that I didn't like was the last 1:30 going Prevent. That was horse shite. We should have been pressuring McCarron with blitzes out the arse. Not giving them the simple passes. My high school coach taught me that Prevent Defense doesn't prevent anything. And that was high school. We were winning, and truly dominated that entire game.

So lets not start crying about our coach. They had a great game plan, and it was working all night.

Oh really what did Ware do, how about a pooch punt to pin them inside the 20, 17 yards could have made a huge difference

Great gameplan, but a couple calls he wants.back.

At least he can admit it.. His loyal fan club can't.

Hopefully we will not be in a close game again this year and game management will not be an issue. The man does much more good than bad.

The onside kick

I thought it was, but it didn't hurt LSU in the long run. LSU had the momentum before the failed onside kick.

Wasn't a bad call at all IMO but the play was doomed to failure. Poor play selection.
