A helmet and one of those monkey backpack/leash things is probably more than sufficient.

Yeah, was it Bob McConnell? Guy was terrible and was previously our WR Coach, I believe. Probably was never an OC before or since.

You guys lay off of Air McConnell. No he wasn't an OC again after LSU, he was a head coach.

At Parkview Baptist thank you very much. Suck it!

True. After six straight losing seasons I'll never forget that win over Auburn in 1995 nor the Independence Bowl bid that fall.

one of the greatest nights in TS IMO

doesn't get near the love it deserves but it wasn't on TV either so only those who were there were lucky to experience it

I was there. How is this for an awesome weekend: REM amd Radiohead in Houston Friday night. Get up early drive to BR, tailgate all day, see LSU beat Auburn and wear white at home for the first time in 12-13 years. Sunday see Pearl Jam in City Park in NOLA

But every other week! Just can never forget the greatest Tiger win I witnessed (up to Lil Nicky era) vs #1 Gators then lose next week to mediocre Rebels!

I hear ya. At church the next morning--after the Auburn game, I think the first thing the pastor said was something about the thrilling victory the previous night. I went and bought a cheap T-shirt that had an animated pic of an LSU lineman (#95, of course) holding his fists in the air. At the top it said, "The Magic is Back." It most certainly was until I had the privilege of watching Tim Couch throw for 500 and something yards against us in 1998.

please keep him away from our football team!

As long as Lou Tepper isn't with him, it's a plus.

The program would not be where it is today without Gerry. Made it cool to be a tiger again and got the fans excited and expecting more. Brought back the magic just couldnt take the next step. No grudges held here

no one is saying he was a great head coach, cause he wasn't

but he did some very meaningful things at this school and deserves some credit

Yes, Coach Dinardo had the same downfall as other head coaches--excessive loyalty to assistants, esp. to Lou Tepper, former DC.

But I did meet him as he made a visit to his restaurant in Baton Rouge one time--was very friendly, posed for pictures with several customers and it was really nice to meet him.

LOL--Is his son going to walk on as an OL?
