True. And this is a question not a flame, but does LSU have a decided edge? We know that OBJ is an outstanding retun man, but what about the kicking game? Keen has been pretty inconsistent, and has LSU's kicker attempted a FG over 35 yards? Admittedly, I don't know a lot about UGA's special teams.

Read AJC. Even the Georgians are worried about this aspect of the game.

Keehn has improved, Hairston consistently kicks it in the endzone, our returns in both punts and k/o's are in the top of the SEC. UGA ranks near the bottom on coverage.

What about FG kicking? In the past LSU has had some very good veteran kickers who came through in the clutch. Delahoussaye is a redshirt freshman and hasn't had to kick in a stressful situation yet.

I'm I the only one who doesn't think UGA will score 35 points?

All I hear is how this game will be a shootout and it's gonna a 38-35 type game

In the past 4 years only 1 team (Ole Miss) has put up more than 35 points on LSU.

We haven't had the need to kick many FG's. A nice change from last year.

LSU's defense hasn't faced an offense and specifically a running game like UGA's yet this season. I'm also worried about the depth at the Defensive front four positions. Outside of Allen & Rasco, the front four has been pretty lackluster and this is the one year we can't count on quality depth to keep guys fresh.

I agree

but, from what i can see UGA doesn't run that gimmick read option that LSU struggles with.

If we can get good corner back play from Mills and White, i think LSU shuts down the running game.........i know thats true for every game but you get my point.

Conversely, when UGA has faced an offense like ours, they don't stop them very well.

You guys realize LSU has virtually shut down running games when they were in their 4-3 package as opposed to the nickel packaged they've been using against all these spread teams.

Food for thought
