You'll do better just buying one I think.
Check craigslist. You can probably snag a used one for pretty cheap, especially in BR.

The've got some really cheap (and quiet) ones out there that can power all the things you need for a tailgate.

That appears to be a 2 cycle engine. I would be concerned about the carburetor on it. Most 2 cycle engine carburetors go bad quick if they are not used often.

We've got 1800W speakers and a 37 inch TV should be all that would be plugged into it.
