Watched the Rockets/Warriors summer league game today. The Rockets won 73-69. Anthony Randolph started out on fire. He looked like he was going to easily put up 50+, but then he started settling for three pointers instead of attacking the basket. Randolph ended up with 20 points and 10 boards. Randolph also had 9 fouls. He was definitely the best player on the floor.

Temple scored 8 points in the first half, which led the Rockets up to that point. Temple didn't do anything offensively in the second half besides miss a few open threes. What Temple did do was absolutely shut down Stephen Curry when he was on the floor. Curry scored 16 on 4-14 shooting, but most if not all of his points came when Temple was off the floor. The announcers mentioned multiple times how Temple was all over Curry.

Hopefully they mentioned that Temple's father, Collis Temple,Jr was the first African-American to play basketball at LSU. I heard that a couple of times last year during LSU games.

cool, hopefully he can fill a bruce bowen type niche for a team who needs more defence and can afford to have a guard who can't really score at will

I think randolph is in route for stardom but it would be nice to see Temple make a roster

understatement

Temple is horrible on offense for a college player. I think he is a good defender, but I think this might even get exaggerated at times.

and that is why I think Temple will make the NBA to the nonbelievers out there, he can always work on his shooting, but good defensive stoppers are a rare find. this guy is another Bruce Bowen all over again, Bowen could not shoot worth a damn when he first came into the NBA.

He had Bowen's NBA offensive production in college. They are going to have to leave Temple open like Raefer Alston for him to score.

yeah Bowen didn't become an effective shooter in the NBA until he worked at it, dude was horrible worse than Temple, he used to hit the side of the back board and everything.

I've always compared Garrett Temple to Bruce Bowen- although Bowen is a better shooter from three point range. I think Temple can find a place in the NBA. Look at the Celtics and Lakers. Both don't really need another scorer, but could be helped on defense with a player like Temple.

Somewhere, I think he'll find a team.
