From what I've been reading, a 3 day series has to be played in 3 days, not 4. I'm not totally confident the source I'm relying on knows what they're talking about but am sharing this with you. I'll get back when I find more (since I don't have anything else to do -- this time was previously reserved for watching the Tigers sweep the Aggies)

No official start time according to LSU, will play by ear.

Thanks for helping out fans

Rain drops off around 3 or 4 then some time to get the field ready... maybe 430 or so?

Tarp crew says on Twitter they need 45 mins to get the field ready, so I'm guessing anytime past 5:00.

It never rains in Tiger Stadium... move the game there.

Why not Just play it safe and decide a start time for say 5pm. It seems like they are rushing the decison with saying we are waiting for the rain to stop. Then we'll play.

Looks like there is junk programming on ESPN until about 6:30 or so. They may try to start ASAP to keep the game on ESPN.

I'm sure this is correct. Otherwise the aggies would not have had to play 2 seven inning games last Sarurday vs. Arkansas. The final day of the series is treated as a Sunday during a normal Friday-Sunday series. The only thing I'm not clear on is the latest time that the game can begin on Saturday. I believe Sunday has a 6pm deadline but not positive about that.

Real simple to fix all this. Delay start till 6 pm and show it on ESPN2. There is nothing but old 30 for 30 replays on tonight. This would allow the field to be in much better condition and not rushed.

Sun is shinning, weather is sweet here in Htown. It blew through rather quick this morning like Kingwood said.
