so much talent, but they are somehow a poorly coached team now and have regressed from the beginning of the season

I'm glad we won.
With that said, we need more coaching from JJ. Maybe I'm wrong (this would be a first), but it seems like he just paces back and forth staring a lot instead of constantly guiding them.
We got into the bonus extremely early in the first half and had SC's whole team with two fouls and we continued to jack up 3s that weren't coming close. We should have been pounding it inside and getting easy baskets or getting them in major foul trouble for the back half of the game (while getting free throws).
With Martin having a good game and being a smooth free throw shooter at 6'8, it would have been a good time to feed it to him or Mickey and make it really hard for SC. We didn't really do that.
And it's a nightmare every time we throw the ball in because nobody moves. But very good 2nd half from Mickey and great game by Martin. The other players made some nice plays too in the 2nd half.

Don't even get me started. We played terribly and won. Yea, we lost against a shitty RI team, and a very very good top 25 caliber Tennessee team. We shot putrid from the line, turned it over too much, and still were up double digits very late in the game. It's the road in the SEC, I'll take a win like that any day of the week over a pretty loss

It was frustrating watching our best FT shooter (Martin) sit the bench down the stretch while Mr. Brick (Morgan) clanks FT after FT. Surely it can't be defense b/c he can't be any worse than Morgan.

Overall I'm really happy with the three freshmen, but the upperclassmen are the ones who have been the colossal disappointments

It's true, but I can't quite figure why it's happening. Stringer and Hickey are getting open looks, but neither are able to make the shot in the past 3 games. It's odd, but you just have to grind out wins on the road. Definitely couldn't have an 0-2 start.

I cannot believe this is a Johnny Jones coached team. Perhaps the most non athletic team I have ever seen. Flat fitted on defense and not much hustle.
