I really just think this team isn't playing for Jones .. It's usually a death sentence when a coach loses a team ..

A lot of that is coaching, Brit ..

I know some of it is.
I'd like to see coaches out there fighting for our kids on the many ridiculous fouls called against us. IMO if the players feel that their coaches have their backs, they'll play harder for them. They might feel "left to dry" out there right now?????

something definitely isnt right with this group. if JOB, mickey and martin all leave plus other somewhat unsuspecting transfers occur then you may be on to something. i don't know. i sure expected us to win games such as georgia and a&m and bama once they revealed themselves to be complete donkey shite.

And if that mass exodus happens and our roster gets gutted, next season will be awful ..

i expect more of the same next year. we've seen what happens when johnny goes to the bench with foul trouble. they are going to learn how to play without him next year which will be tough. we have talent coming in, but we also had a shite ton of talent come in this past offseason. something isnt right.

it's just amazing when you compare the effort against Kentucky to the effort against Georgia, aTm, bama, arky, etc.

against Kentucky, they looked like they could beat anyone. everyone knows the talent and potential is there. i don't know why they can't play like they're supposed to

That would be scary to think that this is true just 2 years into his tenure.

the thing that gets to me is the lack of energy, effort, EMOTION they play with at times. i'd expect that in 2011 or 2011 but not this year where these guys had a chance to be really special.

LSU has NEVER been able to win on the road in the SEC except for the occasional at Auburn or S Carolina. It is not just LSU but ALL of the many mediocre teams in Basketball. They get rattled by the home crowd, miss a ton of 3 pt shots, miss half of their free throws, and the home team hits a lot of 3s

I've been a critic of JOB on more than one occasion but he was absolutely incredible out there today. Some of those moves he made would have been good if a guard had made them. He played hard, one of the few!

This team for all of it's physical talent just make an incredible number of mental errors. How many turnovers were not even forced today? How many little bunny shots did Mickey and Martin miss next to the goal? How many drives where they had their man beat did Coleman and Andre not finish. That's just concentration and focus. You can't teach that. They either have it or they don't.

the announcer even said it looked like JOB was trying to foul

And announcers are ALWAYS wrong so I am pretty sure he wasn't trying to foul out.

Sometimes the shots fall, sometimes don't, but the turnovers make me believe a concentration problem which guess goes back to fundamentals and coaching?

Don't care what Daddy Dale want. One mo year Johnny to turn it around or you Gern Pecern.
