And wasn't Brown sitting there available when we went after JJ?

Watching this game is like watching a Dale Brown coached team.
Which one, the one that beat #1 ranked DePaul in the NCAA? The one that lost to MSU and Magic Johnson? The one that beat Kentucky on a layup at the end in a NCAA Regional Final? The one that beat mighty Georgetown on a layup at the buzzer? The one that beat #1 Kentucky with all five starters fouled out in OT? The one that went 17-1 in the SEC when basketball was big? Please be more specific, unless you choose to cite only that last couple years, then we'll know how stupid you are and ignore you from here on out.

What is it with you people wanting to always bash Dale?

No shite. Dale had some awesome teams.

Next year is JJ's year to see what he can do. He'll gain a lot of supporters or lose a bunch. LSU should be a tourney team next year.

Just finished the game on DVR. Frustrating second half. Very sad to see Coleman's career end. Ive watched this kid play since Jr High and it has been awesome to see his game develop.

He was a bit immature coming out of high school and didn't have the grades but went to JUCO, got on his books and busted his butt.

Ended up having a solid two year career at LSU and was a a very valuable part of this team.
I know he likely won't play NBA ball, but maybe he can play overseas or something.

All in all, i guess this season was an improvement in that this team made the postseason and got some more experience for the Seniors and younger guys. Frustrating at times yes, but I'm proud of the Tigers and can't wait to watch them lace up next season.

Tl:dr. Don't care. Geaux Tigers.

Sonovabitch! So glad I didn't subscribe to GoGo on the airplane.

Fear not, sensation seekers. Next year, the Knights of Badassdom roll into town.

Should be. But to answer the question about Dale Brown coached teams. Great recruiter, lots of talent, not much on x and o's and in game or half time adjustments. Those are the facts. Great guy, great man, had LSU BB on the map for years, raised a lot of money for charity, all of that. But it was due to personality and ewcruiting. But as far as the in game coaching and adjustments it wasn't there. So call me names or whatever, I could care less. Those are the facts. My hope is that CJJ is not just a recruiter but also has the ability to out coach other coaches when it counts and talent alone isn't enough. Which is what happens in tournament play.
