Game play by play prediction...

Coin toss: LSU will win on tails. Opt to play defense.

1st quarter
Bama's 1st possession. 6 plays. No TD. They will try to throw the ball to test the CB's. No luck. Trent rushes for 6 yards on two carries.

LSU's 1st possession: Aggressive play-calling. 1st play a quick pass to RR for 7 yards.
2nd play: Ware for 2 yards.
LSU will begin to mix it up and drive to Bama's 23 yard line. JJ drops back and finds Peterson in the endzone for a TD.

LSU 7 Bama 0.

The rest of the quarter will be a slugfest. LSU and Bama will both score on field goals to make the score LSU 10 Bama 3.

2nd Quarter
LSU will have the ball to begin the quarter. The running game will begin to take momentum with Kenny Hilliard, Blue, and Ford taking over. LSU drive will stall at the 18 yard line. Alleman hits the field goal to make it LSU 13 Bama 3.

Bama will try to mix it up with Trent R. He will get his...but will fail to score a TD.

AJ will throw an interception during this quarter and LSU will score a TD after the turnover. Guess who picks it off? MC.

Hilliard will score on a short run up the middle for a 4 yard TD. LSU 20 Bama 3 at the half.

Halftime stats:
LSU passing 85 Rushing 104: total: 189
Bama passing 86 Rushing 75: Total: 161

3rd Quarter
LSU gets the ball and begins to show dominance with the run game along with a few quick passes. LSU will attempt to go deep a few times and will connect on a few to Russell Sheppard (22 yards) and R. Randle - 26 yards to set up another Hilliard short TD run for 3 yards. LSU 27 Bama 3

Bama will begin to show frustration while LSU's D continues to show why they are the "best" in the country!

Bama will score a TD on a short pass to the TE during the quarter. LSU will score again on a long field goal to close out the scoring in the 3rd quarter. LSU 30 Bama 10.

Stats after the 3rd quarter
LSU passing 166 Rushing 173 Total: 339
Bama passing 136 rushing 128 Total: 264

4th Quarter
Bama will have the ball...it will be 2nd down when they have the ball around the 38 yard line on Bama's side of the field. LSU's D will continue showing dominance and will stop Bama around the 45 yard line of LSU.

LSU will continue running the ball with signs of throwing unless they have to on 3rd down.

Both teams will trayed possessions for a while until Bama scores a TD when Trent scores on a 9 yard TD run around the left side of the endzone. LSU 30 Bama 17.

LSU will cap the scoring in the game when they score a late TD when Ford scores on a 18 yard TD run. LSU 37 Bama 17.

I love your team spirit!

But reality doesn't. If we score 30+, I know we win, but I think we win scoring 17-21 points.

I'd say Bama has 14-17 and the tigers take a close one.

Both teams will be in the game in the 4th quarter.

LSU will not opt to play defense. If they do that then Bama will get the kickoff both halves.
