We are having guests over for the game and we are undefeated when jambalaya and abita purple haze (amber is not always available where I live) has been in the lineup.

Do you have "lucky" food and/or drink for LSU games?

I normally cook the other teams mascot in a sauce piquant...I'm having a little trouble finding elephant this year though...

Just got a shipment of Manda here in Missouri. It'll be a brown jambalaya or chicken & sausage gumbo on the 5th. Gameday menu varies week to week.

I always cook a LA recipe for gameday meal. Last weekend it was Corn, Crab and shrimp chowder with french bread. Next weekend, I'm thinking about pan fried catfish topped wit etouffe. Of course its served with Abita - probably Turbo Dog.
