just noticed that all lots that were used for game by game parking are now all reserved with the exception of lots near Kirby Smith and the parking garage. i guess there were a lot of reserve parking request.

what about game by game parking along Parade Grounds?

Never mind, just answered my own question. Area around Parade Grounds and Tower Drive is still game by game. 2016 LSU Football Parking Map

My guess is they are moving people from Old Alex Box lot to new Alex Box lot which in the past was individual parking.

Damn the lot where we were parking on Tower Drive across from Swine Palace is now lot 311. Frick!!!!

Really ?......my "guess" is, the game by game parking "plan" was sooo poorly designed and such a head-ache that LSU decided to dump all that and just make pay lots out of all of them....raise prices 50% for all the existing lots and then charge $550/yr for all the "newly created" lots ! SEC teams are all making how many millions more per yr w/ the new TV deal ? Let's just milk the loyal fans AGAIN...just for good measure ! Is LSU searching for the "tipping point" ?....they may be getting VERY close..LOL

yep i've parked behind swine palace for years, and now it's reserved too. looks like everything except a few streets, the garage and over by kirby smith is reserved. i figured that my spot would be reserved last season because of the loss of ceba parking, but it caught me by surprise this season. looks like my tailgating days are done. to far to walk to my groups location at ceba from available parking unless i arrived at 6am which is not going to happen.

LSU putting an end to tailgating on campus - which is what they wanted to do.
Posted on 7/27/16 at 1:08 pm to noassatall01
And that is a mother fricking shame.
All this started when paid parking in free lots and paying to get on campus became a thing 4-5 years ago.
Tailgating at LSU is nothing like it used to be.
Really is a shame. Sad actually.

I would not count on the CEBA lot to have much parking in the future....looks like most of the folks parking in CEBA have been told to move to what parking is left { 1 year temp. at that}, and we'll let you know IF, you're going to even have a spot for you in 2017 ! No priority/longevity list was mentioned...btw. your 2017 parking{ if we decide to give you back your RENEWABLE permit} will be raised from $400 to.......$600+ ! wtf ?

Construction throughout campus is forcing the deletion of inner campus gameday parking.. The ceba deal has cost a ton of parking that continually shrinks..

Looks like my go-to free parking still exists

We park in lot 305 and were given a choice of other lots. I picked 305 again and got it anyway. They said they are working on a permanent solution for next year.

That's a perfect example of how LSU admin. screws up....the email to Lot 305 PERMANENT pass holders, was very poorly worded. After calling LSU "parking"..I was strongly advised to select ANOTHER lot, when I asked why 305 was still green/avail. on the selection map, I was told that was a mistake...please select another green/avail. lot !
I swear the left hand dosen't know what the right hand is doing over there ! NO assurance that we'll get you another permanent lot...nothing...just take it or leave it...morons !

How early do you need to come to get parking at the parade grounds? We are coming for a game and staying Friday night and wanted to know how early we need to come to be able to get parking on Saturday morning.

Are you looking to just park or do you need to set up a tailgate? If you just need to park you can go to parker coliseum/ag center and walk a couple blocks. I am usually there for around 10 and it's fine depending on the game.

with the elimination of so many game by game parking spots, it will be hard to tell what time to be there in order to find parking. Except to say be on the safe side and go very early. For non conference games, I wouldn't think it would be any different than in the past. If the Tigs lose a couple of games right out the box, it shouldn't be a problem at all..
