Pouring rain, lots of lightning/thunder in west Houston right now - fingers crossed it gets better in College Station 'cause we're driving up later today - if we have gen admission seats, are we gonna be on that grassy part? Want to know if I need to bring a canoe.

I was more pissed about Katz hacking away at a pitch way out of the zone from new pitcher in the 9th after ball 1 missed.

His birthday present should be getting someone who can hit a baseball to bat behind him.

Ross had turned things around for a while. He wasn't collecting a ton of hits but he was crushing the ball. Sac flies, lots of lineouts. But sadly that has died off recently.

Laird has been a steady downward trend, but I'm ok with him being in there.

Stevenson is not even close to adequate offensively and his strong glove does not make for the bat. He isn't a catcher or middle infielder. He can be replaced and needs to be. Permanently.

As long as its not Foster. Him being in the lineup equals at least 1 run for the other team.

Mainieri's dream lineup

Sciambra LF
Laird RF
Bregman SS
Katz 1B
Rhymes DH
Ibarra 3B
Ross C
Yocom 2B
Stevenson CF

Unfortunately, this. His defense has been a huge liability, and defense has been what has cost us in our last few loses.
