Thank you for your report.
I have been to all SEC basketball arenas over the past 6 years except Arkansas and Florida, so appreciate your description.

quote:

. The seating incline is steep, and you feel as if every seat is pretty close to the court.

I found this to be true at Auburn and Alabama in particular. It makes a huge difference, not only for seeing the floor well from any seat, but the crowd, being “on top of the court” means the fans are far closer and have more impact on the players, The acoustics of that creates louder crowd noise. Very intense and intimidating.
The PMAC is set up completely differently. Wish it wasn’t.

I’ll be at the SEC tournament, and at least the first round of the NCAA tournament. Can’t wait.

I certainly won't argue with you on this.... but.... we have faced some hot shooting teams that were just making threes no matter how well defended

If you think we have an older crowd at the PMAC, you ought to see Florida.

Your group ,our group and the 40 other LSU fans that showed up couldnt agree more with this statement
I think our whole section of UF fans were 65 and older.
I told my brother i think they will all be sleeping by 9 pm. I think Uf has a really nice basketball arena though. We we loud from the start and got a few stares from all the old timers during and after the game but it was so sweet walking out that arena with a win in our LSU gear and giving every LSU fan we saw a thumbs up!

9. It was nice after the game to see a real patriot. In the bumper to bumper traffic getting off campus, we were behind a car with a Florida license plate that read: ALEX BOX

____

Best license plate i ever saw was on 85 near Montgomery. Auburn Tag that read -

Two things: Dreamland was always overrated and that is why it didn't last in BRLA. Boycott Bucees-I haven't been since they pulled out of their deal to open in BRLA and I go to Texas once a month.

Thanks for the recap. Nice job and Geaux Tigers

I haven’t been in the O Dome since it was remodeled. How did it look?
UF took the renovation approach versus building a new arena which cost about 60% of what a new building would run.

Well, before we made it home, the Yahoo story broke about Will Wade, and really put a damper on the day. However, I for one am willing to keep an open mind and a positive attitude. If we’ve learned anything from this basketball team, the final score can be a win, even when it seemed almost impossible late in the game. The game hasn’t even started yet, so let’s not throw in the towel, ok folks?
