They may have beaten Georgia, but how do you explain a loss to Va Tech? Not saying we'll beat GT, but I don't consider Va Tech to be a very good team (this year or any other year).

I have a feeling we will be in the game. It will not be a blowout for GT.

Do you know how undisciplined you have to be to not learn how to stop the option in a month?

GT/UGA is one of those rivalry games where ranking, and how good you are, doesn't matter. That's a good point about Va Tech. I think this game will be ALOT closer than the media and most people on here think.

P.S. The ACC blows. LHSAA Class 5-A is more talented.

They are 4 loss and we're 5 loss. Not that much between the teams. Both are pretty mediocre.

How do we explain a loss to Arkansas?

At least VA Tech won something this year.

The GT @ VT game was the third game of season with an entirely new offense. If we played them now, it would likely be a different result. I don't know where you lads are getting the "Tech will kill LSU" stuff, the spread is 4 points. This game will be a hard hitting southern brawl.

I dont think that highly of the ACC either, but they filled more bowl slots than any other conference. 10 teams in bowl games.

I agree. And I do think Tech will win easily but I'm not expecting a blowout.

We lost in the third game of the season, with a mostly underclassmen team, in its first real intimidating road game. A few bad turnovers killed us...

Don't forget 2 HORRIBLE personal foul calls back to back to let VT drive the field for the go ahead FG

The helmet to helmet on Cooper was terrible. There is more contact than that in every single play. Don't call that back, and we have the ball with 5 minutes left. Call it, first down VT, and they drive down for the winning FG.

The LHSAA was 6-4 vs. the SEC this year?

And in every case the SEC finished higher in conference than the ACC team they played.

Anyway....the VT game was in Blacksburg and was only game three. We were much slower with our reads then...light years slower. We are still not close to as fast as Navy...but getting better. To top it off, we handed them the game with two short fields after turnovers...and then the ref kicked in two personal fouls on VT's final drive that made fourth down's first downs.

Oh well..as Coach Johnson said...we did not got it done....no one to blame but ourselves.

Did GA Tech have Nesbitt for the Va Tech game? I know when he was out they struggled in the middle of the season, but since he has been back healthy they've looked great.
