My reasoning is that he isnt a patient hitter. He has one walk this year. Id prefer guys who see lots of pitches and that get on base alot at leadoff like mcmullen or laird. Stevenson is more of a run producer, 5-7 spots in the lineup IMO

I counter that by saying that he hasn't been asked to be a patient hitter. At the bottom, you're naturally going to be more aggressive as, usually, you'll see more fastballs. With his base stealing ability and hitting, I think CPM should give it a shot.

Moore and robertson are patient , and they arent near the top of the lineup. Plus, even if andrew could be more patient, with the way he is hitting, i wouldnt want him to.
