Future LSU MNC Opportunities Quick Thoughts...

All this vitriol and disappointment has me thinking…

Realistically, until several things are fixed, including:

1. LSU’s Offense scheme/play calling
2. SEC Alabama bias (scheduling/REC/referee payola/etc)

The optimist in me says we can maintain our MNC appearance rate every four years despite these limitations or issues.

So we blew it in 2011…next up realistically is 2015 (with the caveat that it could be a +/- year given player development, scheduling or luck).

In this case, who cares if everyone is declaring early, lets haul in this great 2013 class and we’re looking to have a banner 2014 class as well. Those are the players that will have the chance to win us our next MNC, might as well get them on the field immediately.

And hopefully conference expansion, a steroid scandal, or the NFL will eventually blunt the Alabama bias and provide more opportunities.
