Max Johnson shite himself. and was exposed as a terrible qb.

1 td: good catch & throw but a way better catch

multiple drives stalling inside the 15 yd line.

death by field goal

Bo Nix played his best game ever as an Auburn Tiger that night

True, but LSU didn't really do anything else well that game.

Watching that whole offense was like watching paint dry. Crazy how they've made a complete 180 since then.

Bo nix ran around the field like back yard football.

Never a fan of Max (26/45 325 1/1) but we did have a total of 33 rushing yards.

Our defense let Bo Nix run for 80 yards and their running back had 10 yards a carry.

If I remember correctly Bo Nix had some ridiculous scramble and completion on 3rd and long that helped them late in the game.

If I remember correctly it was because the D couldn't tackle on multiple key plays.

Yeah, BJ Ojulari falling off Nix like he was covered in grease 3-4 times was really the reason we lost.

Which was crazy because Kashon went off in that first quarter. I thought we were going to put the game away early.

One of the most frustrating games ever leaving Tiger Stadium.

Auburn lost 20 yards on a bad snap in the first quarter and I thought the route was about to be on. Sadly, it was not to be.

Nix didn’t even start that game did he? Or did Finely just come in early for a few series?

Also thanks again to Coach Orgeron for breaking a 20+ year streak.

This play is often cited as criticism of Max Johnson, but it’s actually a great play by the QB. The protection is so bad that multiple defenders have unimpeded runs at the QB. Most QBs would be sacked. Johnson was looking right. He turned left to run from the free defender coming from the right. As he turned he saw another coming right up the middle. At that point he is rotated 180 degrees from a throwing position with no chance of avoiding a sack in about a half second. So he continued to turn and threw the ball backwards right to where he had been looking before he started to run. And the ball fell harmlessly for an incompletion. He made a heads up play to avoid a sure sack that was the fault of the line.

frick no it's not.

The fact that the ball got out without hitting #35 is pure luck. Also the ball didn't just fall into open field with no one around it was a step away from a WR and defender.

Throwing the ball not knowing where it's going is never a heads up play. If he just concedes the sack we would've been at the 25, which was well within FG range for Cade York.

Think people will find anything to shite on Johnson
People should be happy that they have Daniel's because he has proven to be better
