The bottom of that chart will pay off in a big way next year as much as everybody is dogging the secondary talent

Agreed, that along with the Heard & Chester snaps. I hope Dellinger comes back as with him our OL will be absolutely nasty next season. They are going to bully some people around...and some teams won't be able to do anything about it.

Womack defensive snaps by game from PFF:

As far as development goes, they are still good reps for him to rush the kicker or punter on special teams and take on edge blockers.

I know people want him to impact the defense, but I don't think he's there yet. Over pursues and doesn't use leverage very well.

All practice he was putting a ton of pressure on the QBs from reports, yet he just hasnt gotten to really play on defense much at all this season despite us being pretty bad rushing the passer. We know he's not a complete player and Kelly has said as much but Perkins wasnt even close to one last year either yet they released him from the edge spot and he racke dup sacks eventually.

Certainly cant hurt anything worse than we've already had to push Womack at edge on some more 2nd/long or 3rd/long situations where we know a pass is coming. Doeznt mean he'll play 30-40 snaps a game but a solid 10 is way better than what he has been playing.

Well, yes, he is exactly that dense.

Our coach is a moron for playing Rickie Collins vs. Grambling and burning his redshirt.

Wonder what happened with Jaxon Howard after the first 3 games. I remember watching his HS tape and being high on him.

Getti g on the field under the lights is helpful, even if not in crunch time

DJ Chester is going to be a beast. Kelly and Brad Davis has created a monster of an OL and stacking depth also.

This chart is misleading as it doesn't show how many snaps they've played. A few plays here or there isn't true development.

1. Would you agree that not all freshmen (or other players) are the same in their development?
2. If you would agree, would you agree that Brian Kelly has played true freshmen tackles in SEC competition which is very important positions on offense?
3. Have you listened to Whit Weeks talk about his development why he isn’t ready or can’t do the things Omar can with diagnosing plays?
4. Do you honestly think Kelly wouldn’t be playing freshmen if they offer LSU the best opportunity to win?

After thinking about these questions, you should not question a chart like this because people develop differently because they are different.

This, and I could’ve swore he was talking about redshirting Toviano. Now this chart says he played every game? Obviously it’s been special teams if at all, but I’m wondering if this is even accurate.

It’s accurate. Toviano has been in the games a number of times as a DB.

Next year could look like Campbell, Dellinger, Chester, Jones, Heard.

And #28 getting up to speed before bullying defenders.
